The EASTWEST SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA samples are now the core of my template. No other orchestral samples have achieved this level of realism and fidelity. I can actually hear my compositions come together as I write them, because EWQLSO has the sound of a world class orchestra, right out of the box. It's a whole new world. Im loving it!
The VST version of this library is flawless. It sounds spectacular in my home studio. In my experience, if a library has VST support you can almost guarantee its sounds are great. There are many good libraries out there, but none that sound as great as EWQLSO.
I enjoyed EWQLs creative approach to its sound design. This allows the user to change many of the parameters associated with an instrument. The sounds can be made to be brighter or darker, for example. The user has a lot of flexibility in the way that the sounds can be sculpted, and it makes a world of difference when recording in different room settings.
I only recommend EWQLSO to experienced sound designers with a good mix of production and recording experience. The library provides a great set of pre-made instruments, and sounds that can be easily sculpted with ease of use and a user friendly interface. In addition, I feel that the libraries lack of high quality material and editorial content makes it a hard sell to producers.
There is a demo version of EWQLSO available, but its missing over half of the library. At this point, the producer would be better off purchasing a download version of the library. It gives you access to all the sounds and features of the libraries sound engine. 3d9ccd7d82
